Keynote #3: "Longevity and Aging...How to Stand Strong During Uncertain Times and Still Take a TRIP For a Lifetime!"

Do you walk the walk of your convictions or just talk the talk really good?

Does the state of the world make you uncertain on how to proceed?

Do you take good care of yourself mentally and physically so you expand your potential daily?

Keith tries to walk the walk daily, currently, in 2022, he is 74 years young. He still is a full-time speaker, volunteers on the National Speakers Association Colorado Chapter, still rides his bicycle over 3000 miles a year, volunteers at a ski resort and skis 20+ days a year and tries to add one or two 14,000 foot peaks to his hiking each summer. Plus, he works out  2-3 days a week at his gym doing cross-fit.

Key takeaways:

When Keith invented his TRIP Technique System, he discovered that he was living each of his four words (tenacity, resilience, imagination and purpose) with his activities and outlook on life…and felt that this should be taught to employees and members of a corporation, association or organization.

We will always have trying times, Keith has lived during: the assassination of President Kennedy, the Vietnam War, the Iran crisis under President Carter, The Iraq War, the war in Afghanistan, the attack on the World Trade Center, and the Great Recession and much more.

We need to learn to stand strong because life just keeps moving along and bringing up challenges that we have to face.

The TRIP Technique (TM) philosophy needs to be applied earlier in life so younger individuals can age well and stay strong.

Older employees can and do work longer because they can if they have taken care of themselves. They also can learn how to turn their lives around if they haven’t lived this type of lifestyle.

Older employees are an asset who have experience that is invaluable and teachable to younger ones.

This funny and very personal keynote applies to all of us who are aging! Anyone out there who isn’t?!
