Hi, this is Keith Renninson “The Tenacity Expert”
professional speaker & author of the award-winning book “Tenacity, You Don’t Have to Get Lost in Nepal to Find Yourself, But it Helps!”. I’m here with my next installment of my TRIP Tips for the financial services professional. Remember that TRIP is an acronym for TENACITY, RESILIENCE, IMAGINATION, AND PURPOSE. So, lets’ get started!
It’s very simple actually, think inside and outside the box, twist and turn new ideas, rethink old ideas, give birth to something unique and strong. Innovate to your heart's content, re-imagine your thoughts until you can't stretch them any further, and then stretch them again,
little steps lead to giant leaps.
As a professional speaker, I know several nationally recognized speakers who talk on innovation and you know what? Because of their topic, they never run out of things to talk about. What fun that must be! Always seeing the "new" and how it could change things.
Your practice doesn’t need to be any different.
Make every new prospect and proposal an opportunity to innovate.
Study your prospect and teach them about TRIP concept in your communication with them about possible answers to their particular situation. Imagine new ways to solve their problem. Study your products to discover different ways to apply & implement them.
Just for a moment allow yourself to imagine that you are Steve Jobs, Elon, Musk, Michelangelo, Thomas Edison or Magellan. What must it be like to live with a restless, constantly thinking, and yet, creative mind? They are all known to have busy minds, many don’t need much sleep because they are always busy enjoying creating.
If you love what you do, as the old saying goes, you'll never work a day in your life.If you can think of it and imagine it, you can create it. Don't give up and always be looking for the new and different.
Well, that’s it for this installment, I hope you have some new ideas on how to proceed. Remember to take a TRIP for a lifetime, not a trip of a lifetime.
See you next time, and in the meantime, awaken each morning ready to use your imagination and innovation to satisfy your clients with enthusiastic, contagious energy.
Goodbye!
