TRIP TIP #8 “Never Give Up Hope. Nope, Not Ever!”

Hi, this is Keith Renninson “The Tenacity Expert”
professional speaker & author of “Tenacity, You Don’t Have to Get Lost in Nepal to Find Yourself, But it Helps!” with my next installment of my TRIP Tips for the financial services professional.
Remember that TRIP is an acronym for TENACITY, RESILIENCE, IMAGINATION, AND PURPOSE.
So, let’s get started!
We all have a sense of "knowing". It comes from our inner feeling that we are not alone in this grand adventure. God, the Universe, whatever you want to call it lives within us as our spirit or soul. That is also where hope resides. Learning to access that well of inspiration is essential to being tenacious.
Knowing that you have what it takes to accomplish what you are after also gives you hope. Hope gives you focus and determination. Hope is like faith. Faith and confidence in ourselves, our team and our mission give us hope. Yes, it is ethereal, like smoke, one moment it's there and gone the next...you have to work at having hope...but when you do, it builds your tenacity in the process.
Tenacity and hope
go hand in hand when planning for your business. Laying out a business plan, seeing your vision on paper and then implementing it gives you hope that it will succeed. Will you have to tweak it along the way? Of course, but never give up! That is the mantra for many business people and rightfully so. Mantras help cement a vision and give you a clear goal.
Hope is a component of tenacity.
Hope is a component of belief and belief is part of faith. With all three you become a force to be reckoned with. Ain’t life grand when you can break things down to their simplest parts? The overall picture becomes easier to see and understand and work toward.
Never giving up is the tenacious part. If your goal is worthy and sound, not giving up IS
the game plan. Not giving up is how you develop grit and strength. It builds character and confidence. Trust me you will like the person you become when you take on goals with these attributes. I imagine that your clients will like that person too. They will see someone in whom they can trust and have confidence.
Well, that’s it for this installment, I hope you have some new ideas on how to proceed.
Remember to take a TRIP for a lifetime, not a trip of a lifetime.
See you next time, and in the meantime, never give up hope!
